10 things I wish my parents would have told me when I was younger.
2 years ago • NotesGotta let my kids know this someday.
- Sometimes shit happens. But you’ll live.
- At one point or another, you’re going to experience something called depression. This is only mandatory, but you will feel as if it will never go away.
- Friends will come and go. But there’s always those few that will stand by you, always.
- You will fall in and out of love. Sometimes it’s going to hurt. And sometimes you are going to feel like you can’t be any happier. But one day, you are going to find someone that is going to love you with everything he has. He is going to be capable of making you cry, laugh, and smile all at the same time. He’s going to lay with you until you fall asleep, and kiss you at all the right moments. And then, when you least expect it, after many days and months, and maybe even years, he’s going to ask you to marry him and he’s never going to let you go.
- No matter what, there will always be self-esteem issues. The key is not to let it get to you. And when it does, someone will know, and remind you that you’re beautiful inside and out.
- When everything is perfect, you’re going to laugh. And then you’ll cry and hope that this moment will never end.
- It doesn’t matter what you look like, it will always matter who you are. And it may not seem like it at times, but stay true to yourself. Remember who you are. Forget who you’ll be.
- Take risks. It’s always worth it. Everything does happen for a reason. You’ll look back and realize that.
- Never depend on someone. If you do, and they hurt you, you’re going to develop trust issues.
- Love. Live. Don’t regret.
nice.
They actually told me numbers 1, 3 and 7. :)
